Sadly we've decided that it's sensible to cancel this - there's now an Amber Weather Warning for East Anglia tomorrow, so not a good idea to go walking in woodland, and the likelihood is that the woods will be closed to the public anyway.
We'll look out for opportunities to see daffodils and bluebells in the coming months.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Sorry we're not going - but definitely the right decision.
Ickworth was closed for a couple of days for safety reasons last time we had an amber weather warning for strong winds and, to be honest, I'm not convinced wandering around in driving rain is the best way to spend an afternoon in February. (Must be getting old!)
Would have been lovely to have a good natter over coffee and cake but it's a bit far for Dove to drive just to do that!
Look forward to meeting up in a few weeks

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Hope your not admitting to child trafficking Dove nah! I was 7 when we moved to the farm and spent most of my time running amuck in the fields and woods...paid little attention to what people were up to!
