    Fabulous photos everyone. So great that we can see and appreciate everyone's plants. Here are my kangaroo paws. Saw them at a show in April, the lady kindly dug it up and sold it to me. Unable to find much about them I just shoved them in a spare spot and they have thrived. Was amazed to hear Monty talking about them a couple of shows ago.image

  • Gorgeous colour Kaymay, I don't know Kangaroo Paws at all.

    The lilies don't look too bad considering the lily beetles visited them almost every day!

    Can you name any of those lovely roses YvieStevie?

    Lovely flowers everyone.

    If anyone wants me to look up growing requirements for Kangaroo Paw plants, let me know and I'll dig into my books, but I suspect you could find out what you need to know from mr google image. I used to grow them when we lived in Melbourne but I think we are too cold in the mountains. Minus 5 again yesterday morning.image

    Yes, Hosta, we want names!

    @GD and Pat,

    We can easily find Kangaroo Paw plants in Garden Centers in France. In find them more curious than really decorative in a garden.

    Yes, Papi Jo, I'm not a big fan, but it's a bit like when you see things everywhere, it becomes a bit ho hum! I remember that the gardens at the entrance of the Cranbourne Botanic Gardens were mass planted with Kangaroo Paw plants. In the end you just drove straight past them and looked forward to what what growing inside the gardens. image
