Thanks GD2 I'm going to keep a close eye on all alliums next year for slugs, I must have just been lucky with the purple ones so far.
Mark56 can I ask what the plant is is picture 2 with the picture pink flowers, it's very nice.
Some amazing photos the last few pages, the Iris are really great, waiting for my pond one's to open, they don't last long but they are great when they're around.

Not sure what's happened there I accidentally hit post before I'd finished, then edited the post and it's ended up as a new post?? Sorry everyone!
Hi Chris. It's Weigela 'Bristol Ruby', it's been here 20+ years before we moved in. The bumblebees love the bell-like flowers.
Fantastic alliums Chris. I can't wait to plant some for next year!
Agree, love Chris789's allium display, wish my chives looked like that
Some pic's from today, just came back in hoping I'd been rained off but it's brightened up again
Garden is starting to look frothy and frivolous - must be nearly summer
Lupins doing well again on this side of the front garden
And much less well on this side, but have got poppies. Saw a bumble today laden with black pollen
Linaria Peachy, a beast of a plant
Cirsium, another nice bee plant
Hopefully one of my chimney bees, bought them some alliums as a present, although not this white one, that was for me
Victoria, your giant alliums are superb. I love lupins but they don't seem to like me so I stopped trying to grow them
