    In this pretty month of May, it’s “la vie en rose” in papi Joe’s garden!

    Rhodendendron "Grumpy"

     imageimage

    This is a really lovely little plant, the colours in the flower buds gradually go paler. I have only had it a year but it will grow.

    I adore it.

    Plant height
    125 cm - 150 cm Plant width 125 cm - 150 cm

    @Iamweedy
    Nice rodho, this 'Grumpy'. I wonder why on the 2 photos we see different shades of pink. What are the tiny pink flowers on the first pic?

    Astrantia has got to be my favourite plant, it's hard to find in garden centres around where I live for some reason!

    More Astrantia, going to have to take action with the plants round it give it more space.

    Lots of alliums at the minute!

    Not the best picture but this is the first time I've tried white alliums, does anyone else have slugs eating them? They seem to stay off my other alliums but keep eating these white ones??

    They ate our purple globe alliums last year Chris - made a right mess of approx. half of them, but luckily don't seem to be attacking them this year (so far!).

    Iamweedy, Papi Jo asked about the little pink flower in your photo.  Is it London Pride?  It looks so pretty with "Grumpy"...  image
