Big congrats to Andy! Tennis is one of the only sports I follow - for me it is a mix of perfected skills, technical prowess and superb fitness - brilliant!
No Irish that I'm aware of in me, but I'm still pleased to see them do well.
I can't understand the mentality of wanting any of the 'Home Nations' to do badly. I'm half Scottish (the good half ) and half English, and the only time I want England to lose is when they're playing Scotland. The way Scotland play football or rugby these days, that's more in hope than expectation too.
He's a star aym and deserves the World No. 1 title - long may he hold on to it. I just wish our Heather would put a bit more into her game, we feel that she could do so much more especially in the doubles.
Well what can I say in Tenerife at the moment and watched Andy all week what a performance and winning Joko in straight sets after the 2 longest matches wow and dont forget Jamie both at number one well done to you both very proud

I have also decided, that there must be a bit of Irish in me! Enjoyed their demolition of the All Blacks, for the first time in 100 years.
