  • Hi Pete,

On the instructions for the shelves it says to nail a batton flush with the ends and sides of the slat.

I am reading this as putting the batton ontop of the slat flush and nailing it.

If I do this then the shelf will not fit flush on the stand.

I will have a gap which will cause the shelf to move.

Sorry no picture as I don't know how to put it onto this mail.

Wow pete8 that is a fab greenhouse and patio area, lots of pot space and space for a chair to rest and admire your work, very posh ;)

i have my husbands late mothers greenhouse 6x8 had fun and games moving it from her house to ours but it has been up 10 years now...a few panes of glass broke last winter but i replaced them with pvc. This winter i have it all bubble wrapped up cozy and overwintering bits and pieces ;)

Hi Linda - I'm just home from work, so too dark to take a pic of mine at the mo. I'll take a pic in the morning and post it - maybe that'll give you an idea. When they put mine together I was surprised that the slats are not fixed in any way, there's just a bit of stick-on foam to keep them separated.

If you know where your photo is, just click on the camera icon (top right of the message pane), then select your photo and it should magically appear at the cursor position.

Loana - many thanks - yes I can't wait for next spring - once I've got a kettle down there I doubt I'll use the house much any more :)
