Sounds good Michael, garlic always works a treat (I use it in everything)
I don't see why not Patsy although I cant say ive tried it myself. A lot of people don't bother with overwintering though as chillis/sweet peppers are so easy to grow from seed in the late winter/spring.
I am only doing it for experimental purposes and because I have grown attached to a couple of my plants hehe.
Thanks Torg22 - glad I'm not the only one who gets attached to my plants :-) Great pictures of your chillies - love the idea of growing in a chopped tomato tin!
Hi Michael - that dip sounds evil and delicious in equal measure :-D
hi dogswoodays yes it is v/nice but it might have been better with say 2//3 segments of garlic as I like chilli and garlic even I found it strong on the back of your mouth but will not go to waste
Lol! My kids are just starting to like garlic, so it's great that I can start using it in meals again - especially the elephant garlic we grow which is pretty mild

I found the only issue with overwintering them was greenfly and fungus gnats. Here's my account of the ups and downs of the overwintering game...

Be interested to hear the reports of how it goes with others this winter
