  • I can understand that someone may feel the need to use something like that on a playing surface Bulkerb - I just don't understand the need for it on a garden lawn.

So what's your point this product is bought legally through a registered company no where in your data sheet does it say that it harms the worms only aquatic animals so don't put it in your pond .

Don't eat or drink it other than that like I said works great I don't use it on my own lawn because my grass is long enough to hide the casts but on a croquet  court it's a no no sorry but that's it for me sorry for got to say don't use this if your a pregnant gardener I bet you use cleaning products in your house but I don't see any  data sheets there then

So, I ask again. What do you do with your sterile green desert? What's it for?

    Wow

Have I hit a nerve I also have a name

  • I started this thread way back in 2012. I just wanted to, genuinely, find a solution to WORMCASTS I have no problem with WORMS and I certainly don't want to murder them - are you being serious - as most of you imply.

My lawns are of no intrinsic value to anyone. I don't play bowls on them, or practice my putting. (Although, I could, well, just about.) And I certainly can't eat the grass. But, surely, there is no value in the guy who, laboriously, cuts his hedge into an exotic topiary shape. Or someone who grows a pumpkin the size of a dustbin, or an onion as big as a football, or three perfectly sized, shaped and coloured tomatoes, or cucumbers 6 feet long or..................why does Prince Charles talk to his plants?

But, surely, if doing these things gives them pleasure where is the harm? It gives me great pleasure to look at my beautiful lawns. Just as it may give others great pleasure growing a beautiful orchid, or winning the prize for the heaviest marrow at the local show.

I don't have horns growing from my forehead, neither have I any wish to destroy the worm population of the UK. (Probably totalling many, many, billions.) But, don't you think it's about time, the more intelligent ones of us anyway, put a stop to this nonsense???????

This is my last blog on this subject. But, mark my words, no doubt `Enraged from Tunbridge Wells' is about to carry it on!!!!!

And leave Prince Charles alone he's perfectly harmless.

I find it strange that someone who started a thread several years ago and didn't get the answer he 'wants' as opposed to the answers he 'got', keeps on and on and on repeating the same stuff.

You won't get a different set of answers, no matter how often you try  image

Best to find another forum to rant on perhaps....image
