Dove, I've told him I want him to cut the grass, once, just once to see what's involved.

All he says is " you've used a lot of petrol". I FLIPPIN' KNOW I HAVE!!!!!!

Green is fine for oil tanks - it's the giant plastic bit that's a problem! image

And white and cream flowers would be beautiful in front of it....image

Sorry Gal2 - we seem to have taken a slightly different course on your thread...image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Haha I think I've ended up more uncertain than I was before I posted this image

Just a thought - could you do a rough sketch of the area and print a few copies and colour them in with different choices? Sometimes that helps  image

I agree with fairy and would cover the oil tank first.  At some point we shall be moving our oil tank and would like to screen with slats of wood, not solid and paint.  If you search through fairys pics you can see how beautiful her screens look.  I would then leave a while before choosing colour and probably would leave the wall bare as it is.  Not sure painted concrete looks good anymore, any colour image

  • Good idea Fairy - but remember that a colour with the sunlight on it will look very different when it's in the shade.  Sorry to harp on about it, but it really does make a difference image
