  • Lovely day, calm and sunny and not too hot to work in the garden today. Will I have to water this evening.....?

Much cooler and rain has started

    SW Scotland
  • Stockton had its rain overnight now reasonably clear skies and Sunshine, my lawns are cut and tidy my world is good. Better watch out Joyce the forecast shows your side of the UK getting the worst of things and we are getting back to being the dry side once more. There was a black patch over Verdun's Cornwall, soggy oggies knowing him he probably invoked some Cornish spell so he has a clear patch over his head.

    Frank.

  • Sunny here, hooray!!

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • Cloudy this morning - hot sun this afternoon and very little wind - so too hot for me to do any serious gardening.

  • Just a bit of deadheading and some watering this evening Verdun - the rain that was threatening didn't arrive and I still believe the pine cone is a better weather forecaster!

Chillier here  now - about 12 degrees, so not much much warmer than it was this morning when I left for work just after eight, when it was just into double figures. Glorious day - got to about fifteen. Pity I had to work - perfect temp for me for being in the garden!

Temps consistently in single figures for a while now, but as long as it's not heaving with rain it's lovely. image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
