Been in the low 30s for the last few days. Now I'm on the western edge of Burgundy looking after little granddaughters, it poured last night and is pleasantly cooler.

Dull morning, dry and sunny afternoon, virtually no wind and the mist/fog/thunder/rain have gone.

At least they are having a good wash... not sure where the other green one is though!?

My garden and I live in South Wales.
  • The weather here is dreadful.  Not only is it lashing down with rain but it is also blowing hard.  Roses battered and some broken branches (I guess I didn't prune them hard enough before the buds formed), pine cones dropping, roads flooded and a couple of trees blown down on the island.  At least it isn't cold out there.

Great day for my OH first day of retirement.  We worked outside until the wind and rain came though.

  • The good news is that after all the rain and wind - we have got rid of the rain and now have SUNSHINE and wind.  Well you can't have it all - that would be greedy.  I am more than happy to have the sun with wind.

Back home in Dordogne. Have had rain and I was glad of it. So were my flowers. But yesterday was dry and not too hot so gardened all day then more rain last night. Windy today and cool.
