  • It's the best part of the day now, after a damp start, and then grey sky but luckily no wind and not cold either.  Now we have sunshine too!

you would love Guernsey Frank - and the donkeys too.  You could wear your mankini or not Verdun there are beaches to suit everyone.

Hi Guernsey, nearest I got was Jersey a wonderful holiday, my wife booked it fly from Teesside direct, that never happened. Jet Teesside to Gatwick then on to Jersey in something I think they knocked together in a shed, never been so glad to get off a plane in one piece and I been on some real beaut's.

Got up to lovely sunshine and blue skies, the coastal weather front was well inland, it apparently did not like inland so it is back overhead blocking out the sun. Cannot win them all.

    Frank.

A smashing day today - sun until 2 ish then cloudy but warm. There is a lovely pink sky now.

In garden most of the day and I think I am a bit sun-kissed tonight...

My garden and I live in South Wales.
  • We were blessed with sunshine today too AuntyRach, it was a real wrench to have to come inside this evening.  I am not sure about being sun-kissed though.

The plants in pots were flagging in the heat (and so was I), so I spent the afternoon watering them all.

Looked out the window and what did I see, clouds nearly touching the ground, Now showered and breakfast sat drinking tea, there is bright sunshine all around.

Thats Stockton for you, a continuous fight between the Coastal front and the inshore one, it is warm though.

    Frank.

  • Nice warm spring day. I was able to go bike riding at 7:30am and worked in my GH this afternoon.

It was a lovely warm, sunny day in South Norfolk and North Suffolk.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
