Horrible here.  Snow has stopped, and been replaced by heavy rain...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Heaven's above, the sun is shining (Glos) - that was unexpected ! We had rain this morning and l thought that was it for the day, but no. Think I'll get out in the greenhouse as there is still a chilly wind. Sorry to those with rain/snow.

Ive given up! again! I'm chomping at the bit. Once the snow had melted I went round the lawn pushing 10" deep holes with my garden fork to drain the water. Poor blackbirds are having a bad time feeding thier young. Mrs B comes asking for more food when im on my way to the shed. :)

A drier day than forecast, although ground is sodden. Thankful that no snow though.
I really hope it starts warming up over the next few weeks, I have a week off soon and intend to be gardening every day.
My garden and I live in South Wales.

Looking at all the previous posts I am thankful that the rain has stopped although for how long I don't know. Around 12 degrees here with a watery sun and a force 4 wind. Too wet to dig.

I wonder if summer intends paying a visit this year......

  • The Met Office is working hard to present a good news story. They just tweeted a weather map showing that today the whole country has a low pollen count.

I was going to moan about the wet, then I saw the posts about snow, so I will hold off for now. I think we are all suffering in various ways must be more than a month behind with sowing & planting now.
