Sunny this morning. Cloudier now but it's still trying! Such a pleasant change from all the rain, even if it's only temporary.
  • Dull cold and dry at the moment.

  • Fine then rain by 15.00hrs - torrential now. We have been PROMISED drier and warmer tomorrow. Dare I believe it?

Stockton NE. rain overnight, cold and drab at the moment 3-4C No chance of gardening, nothing on TV, all the radio music is not of my genre, what to do? I know carry on the discussion with my Grandson on the Periodic Table I knew the first 74 elements all there was when at school that went up to 94 when I did the college course and now a load more I never heard of apart from on Pointless.

  • @Palaisglide - have a look at tunein radio. https://tunein.com/
Not an advert, just a recommendation from an insomniac who spends a lot of time searching for things to listen to. You could even search for Gardening to listen to what you could be doing if the weather behaved. I enjoyed listening to the Australian cricket commentary during their cheating scandal and subsequent self-flagulation.
Been raining here since about 9.00 last evening. Accuweather's radar still showing loads to come. This day last year was 17.5 degrees, I mowed the garden and got a table and chairs for the allotment from a nice couple on Freecycle, but remember it being a bit of an ordeal getting it in my little car.

Paul-in-Surrey, The truth is when I cannot get in the garden I have  the Apple Mac book, iPad, Disc player printer to play with plenty of music on iTunes, quote "You belong to my heart, South of the border, and Tales of the Vienna woods" OK I will get my coat, not to everyones taste.
As a history buff and a family suddenly very interested in where they came from, I have all the old pictures and can write up the stories for them, leave me alone with a keyboard and the words churn out like spaghetti.
The truth is I am never stuck for something to do, I wrote my piece tongue in cheek.
It is still wet and a bit windy up here but "hey" we are used to it although wearing three Ganzi's and moleskins gets a bit wearisome after a while.
    Take care, Frank.
