First frost this morning but very light and didn't last long.  Dry too so I keep getting electric shocks from the car door, gate etc.

Might get a drop of rain later this evening so the clouds will mean no more frost even if they don't drop any water on my very thirsty plot.

  • Frost - what frost!?!

After a dry and calm morning the rain is hammering down now.  It isn't cold just wet.  Apparently October was the dullest and one of the driest Octobers for a few years and the memorable orange Monday will go down in the records.

It's been a wet and dark day today and I have started with a chesty cold. Oh dear! I should be going out tonight but I had better give the occasion a miss.

Never mind the forcast is better tomorrow so perhaps a visit to our local garden centre will cheer me up image

Stockton bathed in sunshine after a frosty night, not that it bothered me wrapped up in my Duvet. Going out to lunch today and will be driving down our leafy lanes seeing the trees shedding their leaves, we usually see at least one squirrel dashing across the road holding a paw up to stop the traffic. We are countrywise here so watch out for the wild life.

Watching football last night and it was blooming cold ❄️

Sunny and cold today - Lincoln

Frank   Enjoy your lunch   Hope the squirrels don’t hold you up to much ?

  • Squirrels, one of my favourite wild animals.  I know - we don't have them here and don't have to put up with them causing havoc with bird feeds etc.

A beautiful day here after heavy rain all yesterday afternoon and part of the evening.  A little wind, blue cloudless sky and the wind has dropped right down too. I think it may be cold tonight.
