Stockton much like the Thomas Hood Poem and the local forecast says it will get even more dour. Still looking out at the garden the Fuchsia are still lighting it all up, nothing like a garden to lift your spirits.

  • It has been a beautiful day here - some well deserved sunshine, no wind or rain.  However I think all that is about to change for the w/end!

Forecast says a minimum -1°C on Sunday.  Don't think I've got anything to protect.

  • The rain and wind have now arrived, so the forecasters were right - they usually are when stormy or rainy weather is on the horizon (literally).  This weather is travelling up to the south coast of u.k. - it may already have arrived.....?

Stockton Brilliant sunshine, a bit chilly, our N.E. coast appears to be the only area where bonfire night can go with a bang, as usual the riverside display will be visible from my front windows. The Grandchildren will go and watch it live as I watch through the double glazing.

Forecast was correct rain ☔️ this morning so some indoor glossing , sun did come late afternoon

Fireworks ? Going Off at moment

  • Rained on and off til mid afternoon so read my book (A thousand splendid suns) and watched a robin enjoying a long bath in the bird bath!!

  • I dull, cold and windy day, so a day to stay indoors and watch the birds feeding.
