Stockton N.E. Dull possibility of rain so no red sky as forecast, very warm, good job as all the doors are open as I get some windows replaced.

Damp and grey here, all day.

This is for you, Frank:  my son-in-law did better than me and managed to photograph the "eye" of storm Ophelia through the kitchen window.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • Very atmospheric picture Liri, he did well to take that one.

Horrendous weather here since about 5 p.m. Lashing down with rain and blowing hard - force 9 forecast over the next day or two, sailings cancelled and I wouldn't fancy being on a plane here either.  Already had a few pots blown over in our garden, and I have decided to leave them down - at least none seem to have cracked.

I think it will be a housework and reading day tomorrow!

    Amazing photo.

We had a horrendous thunder storm last night. Our drive is a mess and had to replace the telephones. The Internet Box was on a surge protector, so it was OK, have bought 2 more.

Getting a bit blowy out there but still warm and dry so far tho the radar pic of rain over France shows heavy rain going across here between 9 and 11 pm.  Odd.

Stockton N.E. Started well until some body asked "How goes the Day" bad move as it was downhill from there. Dull and rain promised plus the storm forecast for later. I was thinking of writing a song called "Stormy weather" it may have been done already oh well I could call it "Sahara sand got in my eye's" The orange glow that left me feeling err Strictly, in fact it was more err looking sickly, and if my heart had wings these foolish things remind me of you.

  • After such a rough early evening yesterday, the weather today has been lovely, no rain, plenty of sunshine and a manageable wind - we have been outside for most of the day, and the washing dried after just a couple of hours. However we have been warned that tomorrow and possibly Sunday are going to be very rough.

  • Weather has been good to us today we have been outside working in the garden from 9,30 until now. Tomorrow has been forecast as wet and windy
