    Already had damage from previous weather this year. Canna snapped half way up, dahlia on the deck, stems on scorpion monarda broke, heleiums miss shaped and most things have been on a lean at some point. But the garden recovers with a bit of help. Stakes and string at the ready Verdun

    I may well move the canna into the studio if the storm comes here! The bloom is just opening image

    I have a tent out in the garden and made sure it's all secure but no guarantees of course.

    On a different slant, I stuck a spade through the bottom of a clematis yesterday so not all damage is anticipated by the weather report.
