Look out for the bargains

bargains galore to be had everyone In the garden centresimage

this mornng I got 50 % off compost because bags were torn....that's usual.  You should always get money off torn bags.

however, the centre was selling off plants, the usual 50% off,,etc. but I haggled to end up with 2 £19 specimens for £4 each, and a few £9. 99 for £2 and £1.  All perfectly good in 3 and 5 litre pots

there are excess stocks of plants ...avoid the basement/clearance sections and go for the usual display specimens and ask for discounts image

I will be taking someone tomorrow for more bargains.....£50 tree ferns down to £10???

Verdun, what GC did you get these amazing bargains from please. I'm going Cornwall tomorrow for the weekend and could manage a slight detour.

Might pop into the Par branch that's the nearest to where I'm going. As for haggling I'm a bit shy but OH is fearless so does it for me. In need of some more orange perennials for front garden, and there's a blue hardy geranium I'm after . Thanks Verdun.
