    I like Monty

    I hate Monty

    I like GW

    I hate GW

    She is fat

    He is a hunk.

Round and round we go, every few weeks.

If you like a programme watch it, if not don't.

    Simples.

How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

Also he's very eloquent, has a relaxing voice, and talks as if he's reciting poetry, so it's even more convincing. You feel like you can't disagree.

    If only Punkdocimage

But I don't watch and don't know who is being complained about half the time. What a sad life I lead with no TV and no celebrity presenters to complain about image

If only it was that simple.  There are elements I like in GW and those which I don't.  Until I've watched the programme I have no idea how much of each element will be present that week.  Therefore I watch and make reasoned observations after the event.  image

Yesterday I had to contact the TV licencing people as none of the boxes applied to me.

Select the main reason you don't have a licence:-

    1. you only watch pre recorded things

    2. something about catch up

    3. something else about catch up

    4. something about games

    5. can't remember

    6. I have no tv receiving equipment.

Whatever happened to I don't watch anything ever? image

Oh well I really like the show in its current format.

And no way is Nell fat.  How can anyone even suggest that...

  • Controversial, really?! He just said he didn't like begonias for goodness' sake. It's hardly on the Brand/Ross level of naughtiness is it?!

As for the 'cooking' (sloshing a few bits in a bowl), I found it really interesting because I love my pesto. And my husband, who doesn't really watch GW, said it was a good little piece too - and then watched a bit more. Surely the sign of a good segment?

If you have a functioning TV you require a TV licence.  Whether you use it or not is personal choice.

(Oh a moan about the license fee, I'll get behind that...  We watch a minimum amount of BBC programming.  Mainly the GW sweetener and a smattering of Newsnight. )
