Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Late last night, a friend, whose husband is away on business at the moment, sent me this to show me how she ... chose to celebrate Valentine's!

But she was still quite sober, I think?

  • That's rather funny!  Obviously, your friend knows wine can be the best-est of friends under certain circumstances....

Did you do anything quite as ..original as that?

One way or another, it was quite a day yesterday!  Morning fearfully busy, then lunch and the News.

Yes, I almost gawped at the acting ability of the Rock Star and Saviour of the NHS

trying to.....unite (!!!) the country.  His enticing words are still ringing in my ears:

... "We may be able to do amazing things with our regulations on organic carrots..." imageimageimage

Remainers have been reassured by the man.

  • He may be the biggest liar some of us have ever seen, (where was his red bus yesterday?) but he's certainly quite a thespian, full of froth.

He knows that all recent surveys show the remainers now outnumber the quitters, probably because they googled the EU and discovered what it actually is (more or less image), or realised that, though Brexit is going to serve the interests of the filthy rich extremely well, it's already leaving them worse off in every way- AND our NHS collapsing round our ears.

And, of course, quite a number of the old - who voted for sentimental reasons- have died.  So, clever chap, decides to play the "unifier" for fear of losing his chance to be crowned PM.

I will not mention that his impressive chatter was also designed to undermine Mrs May....

    Major, Haig, Duncan-Smith, Cameron, May

Which one would you say was the most inspiring leader of the Conservative Party?
