    Interesting @wild edges:)
@Liriodendron - I know what you mean about the camera -they trigger enough to get an ear and then the next trigger is the tail of the animal disappearing.  I also read the first two lines of your sightings a bit quickly, which was a bit disconcerting  :D

Wonder what's digging - fox do you think?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

The pros tend to use two cameras now because of this. Set to capture the same point at different angles and I guess you end up with a jigsaw of photos to put together to make the whole animal. I'd love one of the cameras that does video and photos at the same time though. The video triggers are always too slow but the results are often more complete than the photos.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

From its new, more promising location on the compost heap, my camera took 3 shots in the last 24 hours.  All of my thumb...   :|

    Sigh.  I'll try again.   :)

I've just re-read my previous post & see what you mean, @Fairygirl...    :D
I hope the digging is a fox and not a rat.

Never seen a heron up our road before, although I'm pretty sure there's some big ol' ponds nearby.
  • Don't have any pictures sadly , but our resident stoat is getting quite  bold. He comes onto the yard and catches blackbirds.
Daughter has seen him twice in the last couple of days and he has gone into full  winter ermine :)  He was hard to see while we still had lying snow, but must be rather p**d off now it has all gone green again!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         **
