Funny you should say that as I got myself some binoculars and the first thing I witness was two friendly robins!
Trust me to have that as my first sight
The plentiful dunnocks here are usually the first ones to get going - as if they need any encouraging I seemed to have a pair of robins recently - they were certainly not two that were vying for territory. Not seen them both together in the last couple of weeks, so perhaps they've already started getting a nest. That would be early for them in this part of the country, but it's been so mild that they must reckon it's spring already.
Lovely to have the hog.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Whilst fishing at the Foreshaw here in Mandurah we had a visit from a stunning bird called a ‘Nankeen Night Heron ‘ perched on a pole close by watching us ! not the best of pics it was evening time , same night our Granddaughter sea fishing over at the next beach took some better pics will try and post one
Better one taken by our Granddaughter sea fishing here at Mandurah , Western Australia, just another 2 weeks then fly back to South Wales 🏴. Amazing sight and he was so Majestic !
Love your photos @Valleysgirl I'm going to miss all these beautiful photos from everyone. Such a shame we won't be able to pop in and browse at these and all the helpful tips and information.
