I had considered Actea before Guara Posy funnily enough. Flowers not dissimilar to Persicaria, perhaps a little larger? My local nursery had Actea simplex in recently but only one white one (the others were pink I think) and it looked quite sickly so I dismissed it. Will have a think tomorrow, it's getting late for oldies like me and my brain has already gone to bed
Acteas (getting used to calling them that!) are great for shade. They make quite a big clump in the right conditions so make sure you have a decent space for them. The, usually scented, flowers often have a pink blush to them but turn whiter as they mature. There are several varieties, including a rather dull green foliaged one, but they're all quite similar.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
