They'll refund you in October because it will buck up before then. They are very strong plants and can take abuse. Mine was cut to waist height for 14 years - like kept as a stump!
I've released it from pergatory and it grows over a pergola. 18 months in, there are masses of spurs so I have to train it and make sure the growth goes in the right direction.
Cool, I hope so too. It was half the climber we bought originally which peeves me a little as I have had to cut back a lot of dead shoots etc. We bought it for it's size but anyway that's gardening for you. Thanks
