Yes 1964, we have lived here since 1970. and were able to purchase two parcels of land to the rear, over two redundant railway lines, our pride and joy.
Nanny, We love getting lost out in the garden, in fine weather most of our visitors don't bother to call at the house they come straight up the back, there is a fair size veg plot as well as the borders, and a nice 10 by 10 by 13 foot wooden glasshouse, for bringing on seeds and tender plants through the winter then of course at this time of the year tomatoes,
On a wet and or miserable day the glasshouse is a safe haven, over the years I have exhibited plants and flowers, chrysanths for many years, so the glasshouse was a must, and start off most of the veg in modules in it, besides taking cuttings to replace perrenials, in previous houses had smaller glasshouses, this is my biggest, the pic is of last years Angelines not very good this year bad year for white fly.
sooh, much neater than mine, I did have a clear out the other day, empty pots in the garage, till needed, but it is getting messy again in the "top" one, we have a grape vine growing outside, then in the greenhouse, I planted 2 pumpkins for the grandkids in there as well

Not a pic of the little meadow, but the long grass and trees are in view, from half way up our garden, then
looking
towards the house from the top garden.
