Japanese Knotweed?

    JKW ... No

    may be enchanters nightshade. If you fork it up, does it have thick white brittle  roots a few inches long?

    How tall is it? do you have a sideways view?

    Hi Fidgetbones,

    I shall have a look tomorrow and also take pictures. I remember when I first saw it last year it had pink flowers, you can just see them coming through on the pic. I wasn't sure myself as the leaves are a similar shape to pics I have googled. Fingers crossed it isn't.

    Nutcutlet, you may be right, just googled and looks like this one from memory, leaves are very similar also. Many thanks, my mind is no longer racing with how to sort JKW out. ?

    We have Japanese Knotweed here near where we are in Tidemills East Sussex. There are warning signs down there. I keep looking, havn't found any yet.
