    Hi everyone,
Long time since I've been on here and how this forum has changed (Not sure I like the current format)

To the issue at hand ... Does anyone know what these little critters are? I found them in a plant pot I was emptying. They appear to be masters at 'playing dead' so I'm guessing they might be intermediate stage of Vine Weevil - between grub and adult weevil - can anyone confirm?

Green fingered finch, you rescued a vine weevil?! I saw one hiding on the side of my mini gh the other evening& killed it pronto! Can I ask re vine weevil, I was emptying a large terracotta pot earlier that I grew a blueberry in last year ( the plant died, I cannot keep blueberries alive) I had vine weevil & treated with nematodes a couple of months ago, I was wondering whether I could use the compost as mulch , now I'm thinking if there could be eggs would it be better in the green bin? Wakeshine I'd give them a good drink & seaweed feed , bet they'll be fine
