@didyw You must have some patience for that 😮 I make wire wrapped jewellery (well, not for a while) which can be frustrating at times but that is a whole other level!
Thanks @februarysgirl. I was obsessed for a while - and the garden took a massive back step. I also ran a little shop for crafters for a few years and attended and organised craft fairs but all that went out of the window with covid. Attention turned to the garden which, after being a building site for a couple of years needed serious attention. And now I'm obsessed with gardening again! Seed beads or seeds - I can't get enough of them!
@didyw I have an Etsy shop but haven't listed anything for a couple of years. It was costing me more in fees than I was making so it seemed a little pointless. Handmade jewellery is a very saturated market on Etsy. Of course, that means I still have lots of jewellery and supplies that I can't really do anything with!
@Valley Gardener Your artwork is so good, I wish I had your talent!
Just stumbled across this thread. So many talented people and loving all the painted pebbles.
I've never been arty or crafty but my late Mum could turn her hand to anything. After she passed away a few years ago I decided to teach myself to crochet with the help of lots of youtube videos. This is one of my favourites that I made using organic cotton. I loved the pattern so much that I made two and auctioned one off for charity.
