The sun has come out here. First time in 8 days! Bit hazy but very welcome. More rain expected tho we should be dry by Wednesday. Good. So much to catch up on in the rain forest out there.
I do like all the pics on here today, photos and drawings. Off to investigate re-sizing now as I have a plant that needs an ID.
I also really like the bold typeface some have been adopting lately. So much less tiring to read. Maybe we could all adopt it whilst waiting for a fix that will suit the visually challenged.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.
"The price good men (and women) pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men (and women)."
I think it's a good temporary fix obelixx. As long as it IS just temporary....
As the novice nuns said to each other - we just have to get into the habit....
I came in for some lunch and to get out of the heat for a few minutes. Ridiculous! I really shouldn't grow rocket in amongst other plants - I'm sure that was a bit of grass I had with my salmon
Pots now ready for sowing basil and lettuce, and now that I've properly sorted the planter on the back fence I might even get the rest of the sweet peas and Arabis planted. Why is it that you never have the right size of screw for the job - no matter what you're doing? Grass will get cut too hopefully.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
THANKS MR KEF IS WELL RECOVERED AND AFTER A LITTLE UPRIGHT LIGHT PRUNING (CAN'T LET UNDER GARDENER GET LAZY) HE IS NOW SITTING IN THE SHADE WITH A LOW ALCOHOL LAGER
PDOC YOU CAN'T PAMPER MEN TOO MUCH IN THIS HOUSE IT IS SUDACREM LAGERY HDRACORTISONE
Hi all, I've come in from the sun to drink two pints of squash and update you on progress. I'm liking the semi pergola idea.
Fairy, think I'm glad I skipped the hill walking today after lifting turf! Thanks for thinking of us and providing a picture! stunning!
Yvie, I hate learning new operating systems with PC's, although its a faff, don't think I have the brain power to switch to windows 10, beautiful flower BTW
Pat, I had no idea those pictures were your own creation! They really are superb!
Poor MR Kef, not sure with holding curry is fair, unless you got to eat the extra KEF
sorry I can't thank individuals for the compliments about my paintings. I'm sure to lose it all if I go back.
im going to sleep now (1.30am) - if I can. Our son sent me an email about an hour ago to say one of his cats died tonight. Unfortunately I didn't see his email right away, so I'll have to catch him in the morning. I'm very upset for him As well for us. We really loved her. Beautiful cat.
