Goodness sake Cloggie, There're wee bits of it all over the place! image I'd mended my propagator with it and now it's in pieces again! And it's just about hanging on to the bucket!

I think pp should have points deducted after openly admitting that efforts have been made to repair the bucket. I submit the brazen use of gaffer tape as evidence.

This planter (discovered in the cobble corner on Sunday) is a better example of what to aspire to in order to gain entry into the G.O.S.

I must admit I'm a little disappointed at the lack of hideous garden ornaments on this thread. I was hoping someone might have a grotesque looking gnome circa 1976, with a flakey paint job and missing his fishing rod.

No gnomes but my Mum gave me this ...thing from B&M Bargains

It scared me, so I figured .....

    David W says:

Here's mine, between the greenhouse and the garden fence, all sorts of plants dumped there on a temporary basis (quite some time ago). Some in pots others just as they were dug out of the ground and jumbled around each other.

    Cheers,

imageSee original postDavid, I'm glad to discover its not just me who chucks plants in a heap. My first compost heap (before I got proper bins, points away I know), was under my flowering redcurrant which was made up of all sorts of junk. An old and rotting wooden patio table amongst others. The hedge bindweed seems to like it though and runs rampant, do I get extra points for that? image

Bob, your pic reminds me of the programmes on freeview where a bunch of eeejits bid for the contents of a lockupimage

With regard to the gaffer tape  - We may have made a scientific nay archaeological discovery.

We may have to open a sub thread involving well-intentioned gardening gifts we have secreted about the garden or put in intentionally parlous situations

I have left overs from the previous owners but they're not great.

Seriously Cloggie? I don't know whether to ask "who is he" or "what's he for"?
