We may not be here in a couple of years, so no major expenditure allowed.  Money being saved for next gardenimage

  • That's fair enough...

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Fidget, thank you for your post, by this time next week I will only be able to enter the greenhouse, no longer a space to sit, no longer feeling guilty about the overcrowding.

  • Fidget I can see you've still got enough space for my canna and my big begonia image

A winsome wheelie bin peeks cheekily from behind a doomed( when I get round to it) acuba. I think it's hungry.

weedy compost produced this self-seeder.  I haven't seen a nasturtium with frilly leaves before.  Hope it flowers before frost and isn't one of those horrible yellow ones.

You could have a completely new variety of nasturtium there and make your fortune by breeding it. image

I have a few in my garden all self seeded.

I've got a sedum or two like that. I forgot to chelsea chop. I think there is one of those spotty laurel things next door to chop to make space for hellebores still in pots. A 12 x 8 greenhouse swallows quite a lot of overwintering stuff. The stuff that only wants a bit of protection is going in the mini polytunnel.
