Oh my! I've found Mary's tomb! This must have been the rose garden at some point! image

No skulls or long bones yet Lantana but I did find some surprisingly large eggs of something or other under a mound of grass. I don't think I fancy being around when they hatch. They're about 5mm in diameter and there's about 50 of them. A gang! image I covered them up and moved on!

I had a bit of an episode yesterday when my brushcutter hit a rotten sleeper. It went in and stuck but because of the angle I was holding it I couldn't set it down or it would bend/break the shaft/blade. I was stymied! I just stood there. Eventually I had to give in and lower it gently to the ground hoping nothing snapped. I went and got a bucket (see pics) to set the head on while I sawed the pointy end out. The single life is great till you need someone to hold the other end!!! image

No lantana. Nice try. It's the edge of the patio.

Muddle-up - having had 27 years to think about it, do you have any plans for the old shop?  Is it maybe destined to have a Blue Plaque in the future with your name on it?

Everyone needs a folly at the end of the garden. Mine's a garage with an asbestos roof and ivy growing inside

I thought there were plants growing inside the shop window until I looked a little closer and realised it was a reflection.

What would look good in there is a saggy old cloth cat named bagpuss image

Muddle-up - How about a window box for Bagpuss to admire? image

You could make it into  glamping pod and charge people to stay there in the Summer. image Is it near anywhere interesting apart from your house?
