Maybe the rosa virgo is a little shy. Give the poor girl a chance!

Kitty my rose water was made up in a salt cellar for sprinkling purposes! image I'm not sure I got the preservatives right...it was never quite the same next day.

I've got an old flymo that Mr Kitty's brother gave us when we first moved in in 93, he must have bought it new in the 80's.

Have tried 3 different types of brand new mower and end up getting rid every time, just go back to using old faithful.

I may just take a snap for you all next time I cut the grass.

We've had two crap mowers recently. They wouldn't knock the head off a dandelion clock so we got a cheapo and it's fine  - so far.

I must have been sent to Coventry after my last post so I can go the whole hog and admit that I do ironing every week, sheets and all, though I draw the line at underwear - especially OH's.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

B3 - I did exactly the same thing with my yellow rose this evening! I had to use kitchen scissors as my secateurs are somewhere 'safe'. Dead roses all over the place!
