My jollop has finally arrived!!!!! I'm not sure I like the new formulation but hey ho it still smells the same.

I'll be picking up my shredder on Tuesday and then the big black trees will be mine!!! image I'll be a flurry of pine needles and tree sap!

I wonder why I've chosen scented flowers. All I can smell now is jollop!

I left the bedroom window open last night . I have bites all up the leg I leave out as a duvet thermostatic controlimage. Maybe I should use it in bed too. Maybe they could do a plug in air 'freshener' with essence of jollop.

Wipe it round your windy frame! Worth a try.

I was like Nanook of the North going to bed last night. I'm all full of lergy and I was freezin'! That's how I know I'm sick. I don't do freezin'! I am a radiator...always have been. When my feet go cold I know I'm close to death. I had the big jammies, big duvet, big throw. I don't even have all that in Winter time. I had to go and raid the spare room. image AND a hot water bottle! I ask you!!!

I look like a weeble. I have all my clothes on.

I'm glad I got the grass cut yesterday or I'd be stressing because it's coming up curly with all this heat and wet recently. There's so much that if it gets away form me it becomes a major job. My manly strimer packed in too so I'm waiting for the part for that. Every now and then I wander down the garden with the dogs and make a plan till my nose starts to run again. image  Then I just go and sit down. Great excuse for slovenliness. image

Yes runny that's the one but it's oil rather than cream.

It used to be a lotion RB but now (I suspect since it's anti mozzi properties came to the fore) it's a spray on dry oil formulation. You should give it a go RB if you're all that tasty! image

I went and bought some Lockets. They're rank but they're the only thing that stops that tickle....you know the one so I'm feeling all chipper now.

If you put a few drops of peppermint oil on the back of your hand, lick it off and quickly drink some water, it will stop the tickle. The back of the hand thing stops you from taking too much by accident.

PP, my jollop arrived this morning too!  Never used it before, but I hate the way DEET makes my eyes sting - and if I don't put it near my eyes the little b*****s bite my eyelids.  This afternoon's trial suggests a) I can put jollop on my eyelids and lips with no ill effects, and b) it works.  image  Don't know who recommended it - but thank you!!

Re boarders:  I try to be polite when replying to questions on the forum but it's sometimes quite tricky to work out what the poster means, when they spell really badly...  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

I don't struggle with the spelling so much but some people write without any punctuation or capitals. I presume they write as they speak but sometimes it's really difficult to make any sense of it.

I'm glad your jollop seems to be working out well so far. I mentioned it but loads of other people already knew about it.
