We have flowers on our plants - with just tiny fruits - we always remove the first few fruits and flowers to allow the plants to bulk up before they go into full fruiting mode - we feed them regularly once they start flowering. We remove all male shoots before they mature.
well after the past week of high winds in the north east this weekend has been my open door to get them planted out.
i have used some wind protection so tha they can settle in there place as it is important that they get a good start.
having been holding back planting the plants themselves have got rather big being in the green house and cold frame however if i get the same return as last year i will be more than happy
good luck to all happy gardening
courgettes planted on my coffins are floridoor, jemmer zuchini and atlantic giant pumpkin
I planted my squashes out a few weeks ago before it got cold again so I should of really waited but they had gotten pretty big. Saying that, they've all been eaten with a few tiny bits of leaf left

Hi all
having planted out early June my courgettes are coming along fine and this week will be my first harvest with many to follow the months ahead
A great plant and if well looked after and fed well your reward will be to many ha ha
