The way Joe Swift didn't listen to, and cut off, James Alexander Sinclair's reply to his question. He may have been getting voices in his earphone to finish quickly but he should have learned (learnt?) to cope with broadcasting by now. It just seemed very rude.

Is there any coverage of the show on the "Red Button" this year? Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere & it seemed to be the only way to get a real look at the Floral Marquee. I get fed up of the constant coverage of the big show gardens
That cube of granite is fascinating as a concept, but really shouldn't have been made into a garden. There is no interaction between the person and the garden, if I want to look at pretty pictures of gardens I have lots of books. And there is no way it could last more than a couple of weeks, just imagine the poor gardener who gets to climb up the side, lugging everything he needs with him, climb down the inside and weed etc. and then repeat the climb and descent with all his tools and the weedings.
Suitable for a design show, certainly, a garden show? Maybe I'm growing into an old fuddy-duddy, but this one, to me, isn't a garden.
Oh well, at least there were some truly gorgeous gardens too.
What a grumpy lot (most of) you are. I think we're very lucky to be able to watch the most famous flower show in the world from the comfort of our own armchairs at a sensible time of day. After all - nobody forces you to watch - you could be outside weeding if you preferred

Kate Adie's sentiments re gardens made a pleasant change from some of the celebs. Lucky her having a designer in the family.
Fidget if it's the same hydrangea I made a note of it's Fireworks Blue
.
Thanks, thats the one.
Just normal JS wasn't it? He didn't agree with what the head of the judges was saying therefore said person is of no interest.
Hi,
can anyone please name for me the lovely red lupins that the likely lads keep obstructing?
Cheers!

The red lupins look like "Morello cherry"

I quite agree with you, DyersEnd, was just thinking the same myself!
