Hello all my wife used to work for a charity about 20 years ago and attended Chelsea , Hampton Court and Gardens World live regularly

Chelsea always was Corporate , Gardens World was for ordinary gardeners like myself and Hampton Court a bit of both

Only been to Chelsea once and it was fantastic , been to GW live lots of time never been to Hampton Court in fact that was the one my wife liked the best image

It's the same old same old isn't it?  Every year they concentrate on a few gardens and a few "celebs" and don't linger on the plants, combinations or real designers.

Every year, we complain about it and Points of View reads out the same comments and the Beeb doesn't listen and just carries on regardless.

I do not understand or care why Andy Sturgeon won best in show.  There was more stone, metal and water than plants and they were dull.  Matthew Wilson's was glorious and my personal favourite.

I suggest you hop over to the Chelsea photos thread where you will be able to linger and admire the detail of plants and plant combinations.   Chelsea is fabulous but the Beeb doesn't show the half of it.
