I agree, you just never know how long they are going to last, no matter where you get them from or how much you pay. I had some from Asda that lasted for years and I have bought them from gc's and they have been useless. Could anyone tell me where I can get replacement batteries? as I realise these are not regular batteries. Thanks
I never had any luck with solar lights. But tried again last year, buying some globe ones by Cole and Bright (Grdman, iirc) from the local GC's. They've done brilliantly. Even lighting up in the winter. They have a switched to change the light from either static white to colour changing. The big plus for me is that they run on normal rechargeable AA batteries. So can just change them out when they get knackered. Already bought a few more this year
on my instructions it says, 1 x AA 1.2v 600mAh replacable and rechargeable Ni-MH battery inc. although yours may be different meomye
my instructions also say to have them in a sunny position for 48 hrs in the off position to charge up the batteries properly before using them in the on position.
