Clarice, thanks. Tried to give him dry toast but it came back up. Have to wait until tomorrow and try again. The only thing when we have more than one dog it's not easy to feed the others without him. Then there's the 3 tablets he has. What if he brings them back up.
Logan - you asked if I had any puppy pics, so here are a couple:
They are my Cheshire Dogs' Home specials, seen a day or two after we brought them home. The white and tan one was brought in as a stray - at about 8 weeks old, poor little thing, but he has lots of character and is called Monty, after Montmorency, the naughty dog in Three Men in a Boat, one of my favourite books.
The black fluffy one was born at the Home after his mother was brought in heavily pregnant. She was mostly Jack Russell and had 7 pups and this one was the last one left, though goodness knows why as he's gorgeous! We are guessing .Dad must have been a Pomeranian. Almost all my pics of him are partially or completely blurred, as he hardly ever stops moving and he only weighs half as much as Monty. Though he is a week or two older and looks bigger it is all fluff! He dances on his back legs and waves his paws in the air, so he is called Petrushka after the puppet in the ballet. Here they are playing on the meadow a week or so later, with a twig they found:
Hi all, bracken went all through the night, we stayed up with him. I slept on the settee, hubby in the chair. He kept down his tablets last night. I gave him a 1/4 of toast this morning see how he goes. In 2 hours give him some more.

Buttercupdays, puppies are adorable.
Clarice, thanks for the advice. But managed it with a bit of toast.
I hope Bracken is on the mend.
Buttercupdays, they are so cute, especially the black one, such appealing eyes.
