  • Yes, I love the look of that Cosmopolitan Geum too - approximately how tall does it grow Yviestevie? The flower looks a sort of copper/peachy colour. I don't know Fireball either - not seen either of these in our Garden Centre.

I also love the look of that Cosmopolitan Yviestevie.    Never seen it before.  It's lovely.

Does anyone know if you can buy the Cosmopolitan geum seeds anywhere? I've had a look but to no avail.

Hi Folks,  So far Cosmopolitan has remained quite compact.  I bought it last year.  Not sure about seeds but it's one of the cocktail series, they also do Mai Tai.  I bought it online from Paddock Plants.

It's bright orange and the flowers are about 2in across.

  • Thanks YvieStevie, I do like the look of the Fireball, the flowers are quite striking in colour and the Cosmopolitan looks yummy!  I will scout around to see if I can find them on sale locally.

I have had serious thoughts about the Mrs Bradshaw today - one of mine (two or three years old) has fallen apart as if a cat had sat in the middle, making the plant look a total mess - I really do think that the flower stems are too tall for the plant - anyway I have staked it with bamboos & string for now, until I decide whether to keep it going for another year.

  • Geum seeds. I can't remember when I should start collecting these - some of my flowers have finished and so the seed heads are left but are they still too fresh and ripe to pick and dry?

  • At last I have managed to buy a Geum Cocktail Tequila Sunrise - the plant doesn't have any flowers and in fact I am not sure if it may already have flowered this year. Do you have one of these YvevieStevie?

  • Would anyone be interested in Mrs. Bradshaw seeds?  I have quite a few drying seed heads which I would be happy to send.
