tree fidget, it's got about 6'' of wood nowimage

The seeds were just called Mudan hybrids, got 3, one germinated. It was almost in flower at new year and never completely lost its leaves, then the frosts came and the original flower shrivelled along with the edges of the leaves. I didn't think I'd get any more this year.

I think the flowers last longer with a bit of shade JAQ.

I love growing from seed Chloe, I have trees taller than the house that I've grown from seed since 1992.

Eleven flowers Chicky, wow, that better than they ever did for me. I don't think peonys much like sandy soil, they much prefer next doors clay.

    no edit option any more.........

Today Cleary Garden is visited by people from all over the world. Next to the pergola is a bed of Yatsuka Tree peonies, presented to the City by the Japanese Island of Daikonjima as a symbol of goodwill in April 2006.
