Rogue seeds
I sowed some chrysanthemum eastern star seeds a few weeks ago and have noticed two of the seedlings are not like the other ones.
I sowed 4 seeds in each cell in one row of the tray, front to back as you look at it. There are dahlias in the row on the left and snapdragons on the right.

I know they're only titchy but do they look familiar to anyone?
I'm doing some more pricking out today and wanted to get a photo of them first, what a fluke that they were side by side, I don't know what to label them as now.

Hi Kitty. I am assuming that you are referring to the two seedlings one cell up from the bottom? Whilst it is very difficult to identify seedlings I have to say that they do look remarkably like my marigolds. Are you sure they are not Triffids?
Yes ladybird, they're the ones. Tricky I know, just thought if someone had a similar little un sprouting I could start whittling down suspects.
I'll label them "triffids" for now and put another pic on when they're bigger.
I always end up with lots of pots labelled 'Query'
Cosmos
I think lots of us grow those "query" plants buttercup, lovely aren't they
B3: the seed leaves are much larger than my cosmos ones were and the stem is still very short, my cosmos shot up about an inch before the true leaves started to show.
Thanks for the suggestions
Round 2 of guess the mystery seedlings folks.
Whatever they are they're growing nicely, the leaves are a little fuzzy, like a peach.
Anyone care to have a guess?
They do look similar to my calendula seedlings but I'm not putting money on it
