I've placed quite a few orders with Crocus and every time something from the order has failed after planting. They are also much more expensive than my local garden centre. However I have always had excellent customer service from them and have been refunded or had the plants replaced.

When ordering online you are protected by the Consumer Contracts Regulations (formerly the Distance Seller Regulations) so if your item arrives damaged then you are entitled to return it for a refund and the seller is responsible for the return postage.

That's interesting Verdun - I've always been replied to straight away etc and the issue was sorted out straight away. I'd already made the decision not to shop there again though as I don't think you get very good value anyway, let alone the plants failing a lot.

I was checking out Taylors Clematis and was amazed at the size of plants they send out. Am now wishing I'd ordered my plants from them.
