Verdun, here is a challenge: name ONE politician, in any party on either side of the debate, who is not concealing, stretching or bending the truth about the EU. Personally, I believe that being a good liar is the first, and possibly the most important qualification for anyone entering politics - but I still enjoy almost every twist and turn.

Flowers, if you have had a headache for three days, assuming you have tried strong painkillers such as cocodamol or nurofen plus, please ask for an urgent appointment with GP.

My hubby has only voted once in his life. He considers all politicians to be pigs with their snouts in the trough, who lie to the rest of us most of the time, either by not answering a question, or by fudging the answer.  Lies, damn lies and statistics.  His sister worked for an MP for a long time. She is definitely a guardian reading champagne socialist.  I was brought up in an area where they could put up a chimpanzee  in a red rosette and it would get  voted into parliament.

I have no doubt that what half of my family voted for, the other half cancelled out.

It doesn't mean that we don't all get together several times a year for a good knees up.

Change of tack.... Verdun did your salvia wendys wish survive the winter? Does it set seed like Salvia patens.?

My S patens always sets seed. Its how I propagate it from year to year. Dug up tubers from last year, overwintered like dahlias will flower first, and this years seedling will flower later.
