Oh Lyn I am in one way so very sorry to hear this news. Yet in another way relieved, relieved that neither of you are suffering any more. You were an amazing daughter to both your mother and father: doing something that as much as we hate to admit, not many of us could manage. Especially with so little help.

Please look after yourself more now than ever. x

I've only just seen your sad news Lyn. Thinking of you and your family. You've had such a difficult and stressful time.

Your walk will have helped enormously. Gives you time to reflect and remember all the nice little times and your night time chats with him. xxx

Thank you folks, mustn't be sad though, he looked after me for more years than most people's parents, as they were both very young when I was born, and did lots of things he wanted to do.

He had a marvelous long retirement, here in this gorgeous place, and five years ago allowed us to build on so ve could live here too. (30years)

I didn't mind at all looking after either them, it's not for long is it. Lots of people here have done the same, but I certainly would not blame anyone if they could do it.

The nurses and care workers did their very best, you can't blame them for any lack of care, it's the ones above, their hand are tied.

    Anyway, back to normal.

Just as Chicky said, after doing all the things that were urgently needed, I wanted to get out.

Glad you slept well Lyn. Start looking after yourself now, big hugs Lyn. Lots of love xx

  • Hi Lyn, sorry to read about your Dad but it sounds like he had a full life and would most certainly have known how much he was loved by you.

Hopefully you can now enjoy some time in the garden and clear your head. image

And, I enjoyed my time in Devon so much I will definitely be back to visit again. image
