I'm.sure there's a tiny bit of Monty that relishes finding and using eccentric tools on the programme-/if only to see the response.

    Anyway,

If I had such a big garden and the wealth that comes from life long passion and success, you can bet I'd buy whatever I damn well pleased.

That's not like the one Monty was using last night.  That looks as if it's designed for planting individual bulbs.  The one used on tv had a broader and shallower blade/spit and was used for opening up a trench at the right depth for tulip planting.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • To be honest - I wouldn't mind one of those instead of an ordinary spade. Us little people with short ***** sometimes have trouble getting a foot onto the top of an ordinary spade image to get any kind of pressure .........

    1. Verdun, I'm glad we got to watch the same episode. I think Costa's beard is getting longer. He looks like Rumplestillskin now. image

just thinking in my trade if any company sent me freebies i would try pretty much anything, and be excited enough to tell clients, even if I thought it was a gimmick, so I think Monty's just like a kid in a sweet shop! You know I won't have a word said against him anyway, he has such a lovely auraimage
