That's not like the one Monty was using last night. That looks as if it's designed for planting individual bulbs. The one used on tv had a broader and shallower blade/spit and was used for opening up a trench at the right depth for tulip planting.

To be honest - I wouldn't mind one of those instead of an ordinary spade. Us little people with short ***** sometimes have trouble getting a foot onto the top of an ordinary spade to get any kind of pressure .........
just thinking in my trade if any company sent me freebies i would try pretty much anything, and be excited enough to tell clients, even if I thought it was a gimmick, so I think Monty's just like a kid in a sweet shop! You know I won't have a word said against him anyway, he has such a lovely aura
