I was hoping to pot the Kniphofia and Tricyrtis but its currently raining hard so cant get out to do that
i went to a rare plants fair at Ness garden on Sunday. Got Podophyllum "Spotty Dotty", Scilla peruviana, Arisaema ringens, Monarda "Squaw", Delosperma sphalmanthoides and Salvia flava megalantha.
Elsewhere, I got Daphne transatlantica "Eternal Fragrance" to plant just outside my patio doors, Romneya coulteri, Lychnis flos-cuculi "White Robin" and, for the bees, seeds of Purple Toadflax (Limonium purpurea).
A Rouge de Bordeaux fig and a common moss rose.

Have bought lots from there lately and they're all good. bought the lilac like someone got from aldi £7.99 it's leafing up well
Just bought an arbour. I'm getting the boats to sail in it next week.
Same here lovegardens .......
went to GC for compost - came back with a Sarcococca, some summer heathers, some more scabious (which I need like a hole in the head ......... some freeby plant pots (but no clematis ones) and a past its best huge planted up pot of winter heathers which will come back into its own next year (this was £1
and the pot is terracotta with a slight chip)
benn buying pots and compist and plants (new to me boring garden) and dotted all round the edge look bitty and untidy so after all I may decide to do raised beds L shaped on one side if I can find the cheapest way of doing it
Really pleased with myself
