SW, there's a massive amount to be said for being able to say " I'm content"

I ran my own gardening business ( Hants / Surrey) from 1987 until 5 years ago when we moved to Devon.

I now work 2 days a week delivering home shopping for Waitrose and the rest of my time I spend in my own garden.

I too " am content" image

SW, I had my hip surgery done at the Haslar naval hospital in Gosport in 2005 and spent many happy years in Bordon ( it's not half so bad as folk say )

All changed now Hosta Haslar is no longer a hospital but flats and Bordon's a bit of a ghost town now the army have gone image

I've been watching the progress of Haslar. The main building , last time I checked, was still undeveloped, but outbuildings had been converted.

Bordon is awaiting its rebirth as an Ecotown.

  • I love my job and fortunately travel alot so have the chance to visit gardens all over europe, uk and america but I do think  about getting more involved with horticultue especially with breeding and propagating new varieties
