    I think the Climbing nastustiums would succeed in that pot. They are annual and need full sun.

    To be honest, all sorts of things would work well in that planter Andy - succulents, crocus,  pansies,violas. Annuals like petunias or pelargoniums for sun,  native primulas for a shady spot. Loads of options. image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    I really like the look of those Climbing Nastustiums, not sure if this would be an issue with them, but during the Summer they would only be in full sun for about half of the day.

     Don't worry folks, it went into a VERY deep hole on Thursday.

    Despite my shame at letting it get that bad I had to share this distressing image so that others may learn from my mistake.
